I know what you are thinking....the colors had to have been photoshopped, right?

Well, I'm proud to say they weren't.  I was out there (Summer 2009) on a spectacular night and the sky was doing some amazing things.
There had been several cumulus clouds in the afternoon and the humidity was very low that day.  I decided to drive down to the Lakefront with my photo gear and I then just sat and waited for the sun to set.

I did not expect to witness the best Chicago sunset of my entire life.  As the sky started getting darker, the clouds were backlit perfectly from the remaining sun rays. 

It was not photoshopped one bit!
