From 1929 to 1994, if you were headed west on Madison Street leaving the downtown area you slowly began to approach the old Chicago Stadium. It was home to Chicago Blackhawks for almost 66 years and was one of the most exciting arenas to catch a hockey game. With the combination of the world's largest pipe organ and screaming Blackhawks fans, this was one of the noisiest stadiums in the NHL.
