Photo Description

At the south end of the "Lasalle Street Canyon" in Chicago's financial district sits the the Chicago Board of Trade building. Built in 1930, the Art Deco styling of the gray limestone tower includes a three-story lobby with beige and black marble orientation.

At the very top of the CBOT building, a pyramid-shaped dome supporting the statue of Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture, can be found watching over LaSalle street. The CBOT was established in 1848, and is the world's oldest futures and options exchange.
